The Merchant Homes Sales Team look forward to welcoming visitors back to our Sales Offices and Show homes once again. For the protection of our customers and staff we have put in place procedures to help prevent the spread of the virus and which we would be grateful if you would take time to read.

Customer Awareness and Guidance  

• You must make an appointment to carry out any viewings and meet with our Sales Advisors.
• If you or anyone else in your household are presenting any symptoms of COVID-19 or are in isolation, please don’t visit our Sales Office until it is safe to do so.
• A maximum of two customers at a time can attend an appointment and cannot be accompanied by any children. 
• Please park in visitor parking bays only.
• Telephone the Sales Advisor upon arrival to confirm the sales office is clear of other customers. They will ensure the door is opened for you.
• All customers must wear their own face masks or other suitable face coverings before entering the Sales Office. We will not provide any face coverings.
• You will be asked to sanitize your hands and put on gloves on entering the sales office. We will provide sanitizer and gloves for your use. If you intend to visit one of the showhomes, you will be provided with disposable foot coverings.
• Respect safe physical distancing within the sales office and any one you see on site, at all times.
• If you are viewing one of our homes, we will explain its key features to look out for and then allow you to walk around the showhome on your own and then return to the sales office to discuss your viewing.
• Please wear gloves, shoe coverings and a face mask or other face covering during any showhome visit. We request that you do not sit on beds/chairs etc or touch items such as curtains/cushions/upholstery etc while in a showhome. 
• Please bring your own pen to use if any documents need to be signed.
• Unfortunately we cannot offer refreshments or the use of toilet facilities during your visit.
• At the end of your visit, please dispose of any gloves or foot coverings worn by you in the bin pointed out by our sales advisors and sanitize your hand on departure
• Failure to follow procedures may result in you being asked to leave.

Our Procedures

• Our Sales Advisors will wash their hands, before and after each visit
• We will maintain safe physical distance at all times
• We will carry out enhanced cleaning regimes regularly, and wipe all contact surfaces between visits
• We will provide you with any sales and marketing brochures and documents electronically and will not hand over or post out any paper versions.
• Where face to face meeting are required, Perspex screens are in place on the Sales Advisor’s desk for extra protection.
• We may take your temperature using a remote device on entering the Sales Office and reserve the right to re-schedule the appointment if a high temperature is recorded.
